Manufacturing Technician (2nd Shift)

Pay Rate: $19.80/hr ($18.00/hr + 10% shift differential)
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
Initial training will take place on 1st shift for 8-12 weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for operating equipment and monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure consistent production of high-quality goods. You will keep accurate inventory records, perform in-process testing, and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal production levels.
Note: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required, as all instructions, work orders, and blueprints are provided in English only.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to manufacture products from raw materials into finished goods.
  

• Accurately document inventory records of materials used and track materials in process.
  

• Conduct in-process tests (e.g., hardness, weight, variation, pH, moisture content) to ensure production meets specifications.
  

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process deficiencies.
  

• Interpret blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics to guide production activities.
  

• Maintain thorough records of orders received, production completed, and inventory status.
  

• Balance workload, personnel, and equipment with available inventory.
  

• Collaborate with materials planning, production, and maintenance teams to coordinate the master production schedule.
  

• Requisition materials with an understanding of delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for work instructions, blueprints, and communication.
  

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment or vocational training.
  

• Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
  

• Proficient in maintaining records and performing quality checks.
