Extrusion Operator – 3rd Shift – Taunton, MA
$23.95/hour + $1.75 Shift Differential | 11 PM – 7:30 AM

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Safely operate and monitor extruders, cure ovens, and cutting equipment

  • Set up, run, and maintain extrusion processes for various profiles including peroxide and platinum silicone materials

  • Cut silicone strips, load extruders, and provide balanced feeds

  • Make tooling changes, perform minor maintenance, and carry out routine equipment inspections

  • Conduct quality checks, read work orders, and follow all relevant SOPs, ISO guidelines, and safety procedures

  • Cut products to precise lengths by hand or using automatic cutting machinery

  • Troubleshoot issues and see defects at close range, ensuring adherence to customer requirements

  • Help train team members and contribute to a respectful, collaborative work environment

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required)

  • 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred

  • Mathematical and measuring skills

  • Ability to read and understand work orders, product specifications, and both written & verbal instructions in English

  • Exceptional manual dexterity, finger dexterity, hand/arm steadiness, and reaction time

  • Ability to precisely adjust controls and handle small components

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain safety standards

  • Schedule: 3rd shift, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines required
