Job details

Job Title: Assembly Operator
Location: Taunton MA 02780
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: USD 20.31 per hour
Contract Type: TTH

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required

  • Mathematical and measuring skills

  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English

  • Ability to read and understand work orders and product specifications

  • Physical coordination; ability to lift up to 35 pounds

  • Use of cleaning solutions such as Isopropyl Alcohol

  • Ability to work respectfully in a collaborative environment

  • Physical demands: vision, reading/writing, climbing, bending, standing, sitting, finger/grasp/handle/feel, talking/hearing, repetitive motions, weight lifting up to 35 pounds

  • Occasional exposure to ventilation issues, confined areas, equipment in motion, noise, poor lighting, hazardous materials

  • Safety equipment and clothing required

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products according to work orders and specifications

  • Follow safety rules and procedures

  • Record keeping as directed

  • Understand GMP and Operating Procedures

  • Complete required paperwork

  • Use Bill of Materials, product drawings, and company equipment (Rulers, Tappi Chart, Go No Go Gauge)

  • Set up branding equipment and brand coils

  • Load, unload, and program post cure ovens

  • Operate spooling and tube rinsing equipment

  • Clean and package products

  • Assemble pump sets

  • Meet customer quantity and GMP requirements

  • Maintain a clean work area

  • Use necessary personal protective equipment

  • Perform other assigned duties
