Kelly Services is partnering with a manufacturing company looking for an Assembler in Rockland, MA.
- Shift: 5 – 3:30pm (four 10 hour shifts)
- Pay: $19
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate pressure gauges using various attachments
- Check coil movement and set dials to proper pressure specifications
- Attach gauges to socket assembly nipples for testing and calibration
- Inspect dial placement and verify pressure accuracy
- Paint pointers as required
- Install gaskets and lenses
- Recheck coil settings before finalizing the gauge
- Remove completed gauges from testing equipment and place into designated boxes
- Transport completed boxes to the rollover area and place them on appropriate shelves
- Accurately record production counts on log sheets
- Identify and remove defective gauges from production
- Inspect gauges for the following defects:
- Jumpy coils
- Coil leaks
- Misaligned pointers
- Defective or damaged dials
- Unclear printing or smeared paint
- Pointer alignment issues
- Jumpy coils
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, calibration, or quality inspection is a plus
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Good eyesight and high attention to detail
- Ability to identify product defects and maintain quality standards
- Ability to follow procedures and keep accurate production records
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work seated for extended periods
- Lift and carry materials throughout the workday
- Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching
- Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week
- Manual dexterity for repetitive assembly and calibration tasks
