Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:  $21.00 – $24.00/hr.
Shift: Monday-Friday 10am-7pm

What’s a typical day as a Logistics Specialist? You’ll be:
•    Performing optimal and professional work within the Logistics Department, focusing on receiving, warehousing, packaging, and shipment of goods.
•    Ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws and company policies related to logistics and supply chain activities.
•    Accurately receiving and documenting all incoming goods, both physically and in the SAP system.
•    Tracking and managing all goods movements and locations using SAP software.
•    Maintaining control of documents related to department functions (receiving paperwork, delivery paperwork, customer-related paperwork).
•    Interacting professionally with external logistics partners during deliveries and pick-ups.
•    Inspecting outgoing shipments and handling any receiving errors in cooperation with team members and relevant departments.
•    Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area while adhering to all safety procedures.
•    Being flexible to assist with additional duties as needed to meet company goals.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
•    Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in logistics or a related role.
•    Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and can interact effectively with both internal and external customers.
•    Have experience with SAP software (preferred but not required).
•    Can work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide exceptional customer service.
•    Are able to work independently and complete assignments efficiently within established guidelines.
•    Are skilled in operating forklifts and turret trucks.
•    Can meet the physical requirements of the job, including frequent walking, standing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
•    Maintain regular and punctual attendance as required by company standards.
