Job Title: Forklift Operator
Shift: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM


Job Overview:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload products within the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas. This role also includes preparing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting other warehouse operations while meeting quality and productivity standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks, move goods within the warehouse, and transport materials to staging or shipping areas.

  • Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Assist in packaging and preparing shipments, including Less Than Truckload (LTL) documentation.

  • Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other warehouse software for internal communications and record keeping.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Occasionally assist with assembly tasks and valve automation as instructed by the supervisor.

  • Collaborate with sales and administrative teams on warehouse matters.

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 0-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

  • Experienced forklift operator; certification is a plus.

  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment, machines, and tools.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing, walking, and operating forklift equipment.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.

  • Regular use of hand and finger dexterity.

  • Occasional lifting or carrying items up to 25 pounds.

  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and outside weather conditions.
