Material Handler  – Immediate Openings!
Location: Morton Grove, IL
Shifts Available: First Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm, Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: $22.50

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Focus primarily on outbound material flow.

  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and product quality policies.

  • Read and interpret production schedules, orders, and shipping documents.

  • Move materials from receiving/production to storage or designated areas.

  • Sort, place, and organize inventory based on size, type, color, or product code.

  • Assemble and palletize customer orders.

  • Mark and label materials for identification.

  • Open bales, crates, and other containers for processing.

  • Record amounts and track movement of materials, using warehouse software.

  • Drive material handling equipment; load/unload trailers.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

  • Perform other warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant material handling or warehouse experience preferred.

  • Effective communication skills with team members and management.

  • Ability to read and use warehouse computer software.

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. frequently; up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

  • Ability to climb stairs, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform physical tasks.

  • Willingness to work in varying conditions (up to 120°F/0°F, noisy, dusty).

  • Some travel to other locations for meetings or seminars may be required.
