Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join a large, established law firm in Manchester, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal administrative professional looking for long-term career growth, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work with experienced attorneys and paralegals in a professional environment.
Litigation experience is preferred but not required. Strong legal administrative experience from another practice area will be considered.
What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.
- Prepare, type, edit, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence.
- Draft client letters and assist with client communications.
- Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and deadlines.
- Answer phones, take messages, and communicate professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Prepare, scan, copy, assemble, and organize legal documents and files.
- Convert documents from PDF to Word and perform document redlining and editing.
- Maintain electronic and physical client files and documentation.
- Prepare closing binders and other legal document packages.
- Enter attorney time accurately and within required deadlines.
- Open new client and matter numbers and assist with conflict checks.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.
- Provide backup administrative support to other attorneys and paralegals as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of legal administrative experience preferred.
- Litigation experience preferred but not required.
- Law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Professional, dependable, and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative legal team.
