Equipment Maintenance Support 

Location: Toyota Motor Manufacturing Missouri (Troy, Missouri) 
Position Type: Long Term Contract Team Member 
Pay Rate: $24 per hour 
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  

Position Summary 

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Missouri is seeking a highly motivated Team Member – Equipment Maintenance Support to assist the Equipment Maintenance organization. This newly created role will provide support for maintenance operations, administrative coordination, technical documentation, readiness activities, and continuous improvement efforts that help maintain safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. Equipment Maintenance supports Toyota’s production, quality, cost, and safety objectives through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment improvement activities.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support Equipment Maintenance operations through coordination of maintenance-related activities. 

  • Maintain and update maintenance records, documentation, and reports. 

  • Assist with preventive maintenance scheduling and tracking. 

  • Support parts inventory management and equipment readiness efforts. 

  • Coordinate communication between maintenance technicians and internal departments. 

  • Assist with continuous improvement and problem-solving activities. 

  • Support safety initiatives and ensure adherence to Toyota policies and procedures. 

  • Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and reports related to maintenance performance. 

  • Assist with onboarding and training coordination for maintenance personnel. 

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental objectives. 

Minimum Requirements 

Education 

  • High school diploma or GED required. 

 

Experience 

One of the following: 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting manufacturing, maintenance, industrial operations, technical administration, or a related field; OR 

  • Enrollment in a technical, trade school, or community college program related to maintenance or manufacturing technology. 

Skills & Knowledge 

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 

  • Ability to organize and maintain accurate records and documentation. 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and maintenance processes preferred. 

  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn Toyota production and maintenance systems. 

  • Ability to work safely and follow established procedures. 

Preferred Qualifications 

The ideal candidate will have one or more of the following: 

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing. 

  • Exposure to maintenance systems, work orders, or preventive maintenance programs. 

  • Experience driving forklift / PIV’s 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Ability to walk, stand, and perform work activities throughout the facility. 

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). 

  • Ability to occasionally lift 35 lbs or move materials as required by the position.
