Job Title: General Laborer – Metal Stamping
Location: Walker, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $18.00+/hour
Job Summary:
Join our manufacturing team in Walker, MI as a General Laborer! In this role, you’ll assist with operating stamping press machines, support production of quality metal parts, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals ready to learn and grow in a fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up and operating stamping press machines and tooling
- Load and position metal materials for stamping
- Monitor production and inspect parts for quality and accuracy
- Support routine machine maintenance and minor troubleshooting
- Follow all safety procedures and report issues as required
- Help keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or metal stamping experience a plus, but not required
- Able to learn basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work overtime as needed
Skills:
- Willingness to learn machine operation
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Team player attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing floor with loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to metal fragments or lubricants; personal protective equipment required.
