Kelly Services is hiring! We are looking for a Shipping/Crating Associate to join our client, a clean, modern, highly automated manufacturing environment. This is a permanent opportunity for someone with experience in shipping, material handling, forklift operation, and crate building.
What You’ll Do:
- Build wooden crates for large doors and parts being prepared for shipment.
- Use pneumatic nail guns and staple guns to assemble crates.
- Prepare and package products for domestic and international shipment.
- Verify materials, packing, tags, and handling instructions.
- Operate a forklift to load crates onto trucks and flatbeds.
- Pull and organize parts, hardware, and other components for shipment.
- Use tape measures and other hand/pneumatic tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience.

Ability to use tape measure and operate tools ie. nail guns, and air ratchet.

Experience building crates or working with wood packaging is highly preferred.

Forklift experience with the ability to safely load flatbed trucks.

Ability to read packing slips, checklists, basic drawings, and work instructions.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to occasionally lift 50–75 lbs.

Shift: Monday–Friday | 4:30 AM–1:00 PM

High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $25.36/hour
- Permanent, full-time position
- Benefits after 30 days
- PTO after 90 days
