Compound Operator (3rd shift)

Location: Largo, FL 33773
Work Schedule: Sun to Thu / 3rd Shift: 10 pm to 6:30 am
Pay rate: 18.61$ per hour (+2$ shift differential = $20.61/h)
Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 3-month to 6-month duration (potential hire according to performance)

Position Overview Operates and maintains compounder lines and production equipment to blend, package, and inspect resin batches according to specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; forklift certification required upon hire.


  • Strong ability to follow instructions and complete production/time paperwork.


  • Experience with compounders, injection molding, and related machinery preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Batch, blend, weigh, package, and label resin products per formulation sheets.


  • Operate, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot 40mm/60mm compounders, pelletizers, dryers, and water systems.


  • Mold ASTM test slabs, inspect products for visual defects, and enter data into CMPC.


  • Train peers, maintain shift handoffs, keep work areas clean, and complete stock/scrap tags.

Physical & Environmental Conditions

  • Requires walking, stooping, reaching, climbing steps, and lifting up to 50 lbs.


  • Active plant environment with loud noise, changing temperatures, and dust/fumes/chemicals; mandatory PPE (safety glasses, shoes, hearing protection).
