Position: Plating Operator II
Location: Greensboro, NC
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm, Monday–Friday)
Initial training will be on 1st shift for a few weeks before transitioning to 2nd shift.
Pay Rate: $15/hour
 

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plating Operator to join our production team in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in production manufacturing and a stable employment history, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate plating equipment for the production of parts, including setup, changeovers, and periodic preventative maintenance.
  

• Perform quality checks on in-process and finished products using x-ray machines and various gauges.
  

• Complete all required documentation accurately for each stage of the plating process.
  

• Maintain and monitor plating baths, checking chemical levels and mixing as needed.
  

• Operate manufacturing systems such as linked manufacturing systems, lasers, print stations, DI water systems, and closed-loop evaporators.
  

• Identify and remove defects from products to ensure quality standards are met.
  

• Transport completed products to the shipping area using a forklift (forklift certification preferred).
  

• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following company procedures (TEOA standards).
  

• Unload finished material and feed new material into the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with plating processes.
  

• Demonstrated stability in employment history with minimal job changes.
  

• Ability to apply job skills and follow company policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
  

• Familiarity with quality control tools and basic maintenance procedures.
  

• Basic mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
  

• Ability to recognize when deviations from standard procedures are needed.
  

• Forklift experience/certification is a plus.

• Duties and tasks are varied and semi-routine.
  

• You may be required to adapt to changing tasks as production needs arise.
  

• This position requires standing, lifting, and manual handling of materials throughout the shift.
