Location: Brockton, MA
Pay: $24–$25 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Company

We are a well-established manufacturing company specializing in precision metal fabrication and custom manufacturing. Our team works with a variety of materials and produces high-quality components for customers across different industries. We are looking for an experienced Laser Machine Operator to join our growing team.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Laser Machine Operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable setting up and operating laser cutting equipment in a fast-paced job shop environment, handling both short- and long-run jobs ranging from simple to complex.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate AMADA Lasmac cutting machine cells and EMLK3610 equipment.

  • Set up standard and special tooling.

  • Download programs and make edits when required.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve laser machine problems.

  • Use gauges and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and meet close-tolerance requirements.

  • Inspect work before first-piece inspection and at required intervals throughout the job.

  • Enter job quantities and labor information into the computer system.

  • Perform basic machine and computer operation tasks.

  • Operate a forklift when needed.

  • Perform some lifting as required.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of laser machine operating experience.

  • Experience setting up and operating laser cutting equipment.

  • Knowledge of laser troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.

  • Ability to read and edit machine programs.

  • Ability to work effectively in a job shop environment with varying job sizes and complexities.

  • Ability to use precision measuring tools and gauges.

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

  • Good manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.

  • Ability to lift materials as required.

  • Forklift experience is a plus.

  • Ability to enter production and labor information into a computer system.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
