Inventory Specialist / Forklift Operator needed in Harvey, Illinois
(Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift)
$20.00 per hour
Are you organized, safety-conscious, and ready to be part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly? As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are shipped accurately and efficiently to customers around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate inventory availability and prepare truckload shipments.
- Organize product containers for final shipping, maintaining proper inventory rotation.
- Generate shipping documentation in SAP, including batch numbers and quantities.
- Record shipping transactions in SAP (PRO numbers, freight charges, carrier information).
- Secure and load box trailers to ensure safe delivery.
- Communicate with Customer Service, Inventory Managers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Fork truck operation experience required.
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
- Experience in the chemical/lubricant industry preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus.
