Job Title: Operator II
Location: Gurnee, IL
Salary: $25–$27 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Shift: Rotating Continental Shift Days/Nights
Seeking an Operator II for a leading manufacturing client in Gurnee, IL. The Operator II is responsible for operating equipment, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring product quality in a safe and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing equipment at assigned work centers.
- Monitor production processes and inspect products for quality and compliance.
- Stock materials, change supplies, and work with Operator III to maintain workflow.
- Follow company policies and regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, GMP).
- Support safety and quality programs and perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Work Instructions, and Product Specifications.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing); ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment (scale, tape gun, pallet jack).
- Computer skills, including SAP and Microsoft Outlook.
