Job Title: Customer Support Representative II (Service Support Specialist)
Location: Bohemia, NY (Hybrid option available)
Payrate: $27/hour
Assignment length: 6 months
About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Support Specialist to join our team in Bohemia, NY. In this pivotal role, you will interface directly with end users and field service teams, helping to coordinate service activities, resolve customer inquiries, and drive operational excellence. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and requires the candidate to reside within a 50-mile radius of the Bohemia facility.


What You Will Accomplish Together With Us:

  • Interface with end users and the field service organization, communicating all requests, requirements, and issues to internal stakeholders

  • Assist in scheduling field service onsite visits; work with customers to ensure all requirements are met before installations or maintenance

  • Handle service orders, update statuses, process parts orders, manage service invoicing, and create service center notifications

  • Create new service contracts in SAP, update equipment records, process renewals, and run reports as needed

  • Review and report on field engineer inventory levels

  • Collaborate with engineers to cycle count stock and ensure proper inventory management via secure order processing

What Will Convince Us:

  • High school diploma required; an academic degree in business or related field is preferred

  • Minimum 2 years experience in customer service

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with professional customer interaction

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment

  • Experience working with field service organizations preferred

  • SAP experience is highly valued
