Digital Press Operator / Press Operator – $21-$25/hr
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: $21.00-$25.00/hr + $0.50/hr B-Shift Differential
Multiple Openings | Temp-to-Hire | Direct Hire Consideration
A Rochester-area print manufacturing facility is hiring Digital Press Operators / Press Operators to operate advanced printing equipment and support quality production.
Experienced press operators may be considered for direct hire. Qualified candidates may also start temp-to-hire. Candidates with strong machine operating, mechanical, or manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
Schedule Options:
- A Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
- A Shift: Sunday-Thursday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
B Shift Differential: +$0.50/hr
- B Shift: Sunday-Thursday | 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
- B Shift: Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
Mandatory overtime, including weekends, may be required during peak production periods.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate digital printing presses.
- Monitor print quality, color, registration, and alignment.
- Adjust machine settings and materials.
- Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and minor troubleshooting.
- Follow production specifications and safety procedures.
- Monitor production and identify quality issues.
What We’re Looking For
- Digital press or commercial printing experience preferred.
- Manufacturing, machine operating, or complex equipment experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Comfortable with computers and machine interfaces.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
