No extensive experience is required. We provide training and opportunities to develop specialized manufacturing skills.
Available Shifts
Day Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Friday: Overtime as required
Afternoon Shift
- Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
- Friday: Overtime as required
Pay Rate
$24.48 per hour
Position Summary
The Production Technician I (Laminator) is responsible for performing a variety of laminating techniques to manufacture composite components according to engineering drawings and Standard Work Instructions (SWI). This is an entry-level position where training is provided, and employees work under close supervision while developing their skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lay up composite materials on mandrels according to manufacturing plans and SWI instructions.
- Wrap molds with composite materials in preparation for the curing process.
- Verify materials are correct and meet manufacturing specifications.
- Review manufacturing documentation for accuracy and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Verify part identification tags and complete required documentation.
- Maintain production schedules and meet takt time requirements.
- Follow all quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing or production experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to follow written instructions, drawings, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
