Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $48 per hour

Shift: 1st shift (6a.m. – 3p.m.), Potential Overtime Required, Must be willing to flex and support variable shifts as needed

What’s a typical day as Quality Engineer? You’ll be:

  • Supporting the Quality Services Team through all factory engineering processes

  • Performing in-line inspection, tool & gauge asset management, and GD&T analysis/CMM inspection

  • Managing non-conformance processing and containment activities

  • Collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Management to ensure process compliance

  • Leveraging SAP, NCCA, DNCM, and other tools to process and complete work efficiently

  • Supporting shop floor staff in coordinating containment and inspection activities

  • Providing daily report-out documentation and ensuring effective communication on prioritization and completed work

  • Maintaining process documentation and control

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Bring a can-do attitude and are willing to engage, learn, and adapt to the evolving needs of the business

  • Have strong experience in manufacturing environments

  • Are proficient in basic office applications (MS Suite)

  • Are local to East Moline, IL, and able to work on-site (metatarsal boots required on Day 1)

  • Are able to work on a W2 contract basis (no C2C)

  • Are not in need of visa sponsorship now or in the near future

Preferred but not required:

  • Background in GD&T

  • Experience with CMM programming

  • Familiarity with ISO standards

  • Skill in data & analytics tool creation
