Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Shift: 3rd

What’s a typical day as Machine Ops- Press Helper? You’ll be:

  • Operating the feeder on a printing press and assisting the press operator (Levels II-Lead) with daily production tasks

  • Preparing presses with required materials, inks, solvents, and ensuring all safety, quality, security, and audit compliance regulations are met

  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area following 5S practices

  • Inspecting orders for defects during production and notifying the press operator as needed

  • Monitoring fountain solution and ink levels, and cleaning the press thoroughly with proper protective equipment

  • Assisting in performing all weekly and monthly preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, part replacement, roller adjustments, and UV system maintenance

  • Ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and adherence to all rules of conduct and safety protocols

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Bring experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)

  • Are comfortable working full-time on the 3rd shift

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to safety and quality standards

  • Are able to work collaboratively, accept guidance, and adapt to changing production needs
