Production Machine Operator – 3rd Shift
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Schedule: 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
Assignment Type: Temporary, with possible extension based on business needs
Orientation: Mondays at 7:00 a.m.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Machine Operator to operate manufacturing equipment and perform repetitive production processes according to established procedures. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, punctual, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
Follow prescribed routines and make basic process or equipment adjustments as directed.
Operate equipment that may include, but is not limited to:
Packers
Palletizers
Ride-on Toyota forklifts
Mixers
Pellet mills
Other manufacturing equipment
Record and report production numbers accurately.
Follow all oral and written instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
Observe production processes and report quality, safety, or equipment concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Become proficient in the operation of assigned equipment within the expected training period, typically a few months.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Ability to follow oral and written instructions, including short correspondence and memos.
Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and group settings.
Ability to understand, record, and communicate detailed information accurately.
Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Dependable, flexible, and safety-conscious work ethic.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability and willingness to operate a ride-on Toyota forklift after appropriate training.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes.
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Pre-Employment Requirements
A background check must be completed before the candidate may start the assignment.
A Concentra physical must be completed before the candidate comes on-site. This may include:
Physical examination
Hearing evaluation
OSHA questionnaire
Required blood draw
Other applicable pre-employment testing
Steel-toed shoes are required.
