Location: Tacoma, WA
Pay: $24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

 

We are hiring Forklift Operators for a great opportunity in Tacoma! This is a temperature-controlled warehouse environment with a consistent weekday schedule and a role that is primarily focused on operating the forklift rather than heavy manual labor.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate a sit-down electric forklift

  • Load and unload trucks

  • Push, pull, lift, stack, tier, and move products and materials throughout the warehouse

  • Safely transport materials within the warehouse

  • Use scanners, PCs, and other technology as needed

  • Follow all safety and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Approximately 90% forklift operation with limited hands-on material handling

  • Occasional weekend overtime may be required

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of forklift operating experience

  • Experience operating a sit-down electric forklift

  • Experience loading and unloading trucks

  • Strong safety awareness

  • Reliable attendance and work ethic

  • Comfortable using basic technology, including scanners and PCs

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Must be flexible and willing to work weekends as needed
