PRODUCTION OPERATOR 1
Medway, MA 02053
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour plus 10% shift differential
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m.
Position Summary
Production Operator 1 is responsible for operating ECC saws and supporting efficient, effective production while ensuring all products meet company quality standards and Quality Management System requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of ECC saws involving close-tolerance work.
- Perform routine and repetitive operations while consistently meeting production and quality standards.
- Run production jobs on properly set-up ECC saws.
- Read and follow drawings, specifications, traveler instructions, and other work documentation.
- Conduct quality checks using fixed and adjustable precision measuring devices.
- Maintain tooling as needed to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Lubricate and clean machines as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and operations.
- Perform multiple manufacturing operations as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area.
- Follow all company, department, quality, safety policies, and established work practices.
- Communicate job-related issues and other work information to the Area Lead.
- Maintain a positive attitude and promote a team-oriented work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow drawings, specifications, and written work instructions.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and consistently.
- Ability to use precision measuring devices.
- Previous ECC saw operating experience is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally walk, sit, balance, stoop, reach, talk, and hear.
- Use hands and fingers to handle tools, controls, and materials.
- Occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Demonstrate close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Adjust focus as needed to perform job duties safely and accurately.

Work Environment
This position works in a general machine shop environment and requires compliance with all established safety rules, quality procedures, and workplace practices.
