Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Shift: 7:30am- 4:00pm Monday-Friday  Evening, weekend, or overtime work may be required

What’s a typical day as Painting Technician? You’ll be:

• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming for painting or coating applications
  

• Applying paints, stains, varnishes, sealants, and protective coatings to walls, ceilings, floors, doors, shelving, equipment, and manufactured ovens using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  

• Inspecting painted surfaces and performing necessary touch-ups or repairs to maintain appearance and safety
  

• Mixing and matching paint colors according to specifications and maintaining painting tools and equipment
  

• Following all safety procedures related to chemicals, ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
  

• Cleaning and organizing work areas, and reporting maintenance and supply needs

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  

• Bring experience in commercial, industrial, or warehouse painting
  

• Are knowledgeable about painting materials, surface preparation, spray painting, and equipment maintenance
  

• Can read and follow work orders and safety instructions accurately
  

• Are able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work at heights
  

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
  

• Are comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor warehouse environments with exposure to paint fumes, dust, and fluctuating temperatures
