Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, shipping, kitting, inventory organization, and cycle counts. This position safely operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment while supporting the Manufacturing team and maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Receive and store incoming goods according to established procedures.
- Restock shelves and maintain organized inventory locations.
- Prepare kits and materials for manufacturing operations.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders to support on-time delivery.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved material-handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse and work areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling requirements.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and safety concerns promptly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of previous warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment and materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work on-site during the scheduled day shift.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a manufacturing and supply chain team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience.
- Experience using Oracle or other inventory management systems.
- Experience with receiving, shipping, kitting, or cycle counting.
