Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23-$24 per hour
Shift: 1st shift – 6:00a to 2:30p, 2nd shift – 3:30p to 12:00a

What’s a typical day as Powder Coat Technician? You’ll be:
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper coating adhesion
- Operating and maintaining manual spray powder coat gun systems and spray booths
- Applying powder coatings evenly and accurately to designated surfaces
- Monitoring curing processes and controlling oven parameters for optimal finish quality
- Inspecting finished products for defects and consistency with quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
- Following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Troubleshooting equipment and performing basic repairs as needed
- Documenting production details and adhering to job specifications and deadlines
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a powder coat shop using manual spray applications
- Can read and interpret 2D prints and work instructions
- Are experienced with MIL thickness measurement instruments and oven controls
- Possess excellent time management and verbal communication skills
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Can stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout your shift
- Are capable of lifting and carrying objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Have good visual acuity for inspecting finishes and detecting defects
- Are adaptable to environments with fumes, dust, and noise hazards
