Pay Rate: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour
Shift: Day shift hours – flexible 08-hour shift between 5:00am-7:00pm, Monday through Friday

What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:
• Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety and preventive maintenance protocols
• Inspecting facilities and equipment to determine functionality and detect malfunctions or needed repairs
• Performing minor electrical maintenance (e.g., replacing fixtures, bulbs, fuses, sockets) using appropriate tools
• Applying mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to diagnose and repair production machinery
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals to conduct required maintenance and service
• Completing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
• Performing plumbing and carpentry functions as needed
• Coordinating with subcontractors for facility renovations and repairs
• Monitoring inventory of spare parts for critical equipment and recommending parts as needed
• Maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies, while keeping work areas clean and organized
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or relevant job function experience (required)
• Bring a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (required)
• Are skilled in using hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
• Can read and interpret equipment manuals and perform preventive maintenance
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external customers
• Can work independently, meet deadlines, and handle pressure while providing excellent customer service
• Are physically able to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and wear a respirator (annual fit test required)
• Are willing to receive hazardous waste training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter (required by South Carolina Hazardous Waste Management Regulations)
• Have experience with SAP software (preferred, but not required)
