Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronic Repair Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment and components at the board and component level. This role supports the resolution of technical issues and ensures devices meet quality and functional standards in a controlled production or repair environment.

Location: Groveport, OH
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices and components at the board and component level.
  

• Perform circuit analysis, fault isolation, and signal tracing to identify and resolve technical issues.
  

• Use electronic test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators/analyzers.
  

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  

• Perform through-hole and surface-mount soldering for repair and rework activities.
  

• Diagnose and resolve integration and configuration issues in electronic systems.
  

• Support PROM programming and waveform analysis during troubleshooting activities.
  

• Accurately document repair activities, test results, and findings.
  

• Follow ESD and cleanroom protocols to maintain product integrity and workplace safety.
  

• Maintain tools and equipment used for diagnostics and repair.
  

• Complete data entry, reporting, and other operational or administrative tasks as needed.
  

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
  

• At least one year of experience in electronics repair, technical support, or a related field.
  

• Basic knowledge of electronics, digital components, and circuit fundamentals.
  

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices at the component or board level preferred.
  

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
  

• Experience with through-hole and surface-mount soldering techniques.
  

• Familiarity with electronic test equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  

• Basic understanding of signal flow, waveform analysis, and fault isolation.
  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise technical work.
  

• Basic computer and data-entry skills, including familiarity with standard office tools.
  

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  

• Ability to work in a cleanroom and ESD-controlled environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training or certifications, such as A+, IPC, or related electronics credentials.
  

• Additional experience with PROM programming, waveform analysis, or electronic system integration.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a controlled production or repair environment and requires adherence to cleanroom, ESD, quality, and safety procedures. The successful candidate should be comfortable performing detailed technical work while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
