Pay Rate: Based on shift ($19.00 – $20.00/hr, paid weekly)

Kelly Services is hiring experienced Box Clamp Operators in Port Wentworth. If you have solid experience stripping floor-loaded containers and handling unpalletized freight, apply today!


Shifts & Pay (Based on Shift)

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM — $19.00/hr

  • 2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM — $20.00/hr

  • Schedule: Mandatory overtime and weekends required. Shifts may run up to 12 hours during peak season.

What You’ll Do

  • Gut Containers: Unload floor-loaded, unpalletized cartons directly from shipping containers using clamp attachments.

  • Stack, stage, and move non-palletized freight safely without damaging product.

  • Adjust clamp pressure to match load weight and carton durability.

  • Perform daily pre-trip equipment checks and maintain a clean, safe dock.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • Minimum 2 years of dedicated box clamp experience.

  • Recent experience: Must have operated a box clamp within the last 12 months.

  • Container experience: Hands-on background gutting floor-loaded shipping containers (no pallets).

  • Equipment Test: Must be able to pass an on-site driving and clamp assessment.

  • Experience on UniCarriers propane-powered box clamps is a strong plus!

  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
