Material Handler / Packer (Production)
Location: Durham, CT
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
We are seeking a dependable and versatile person to join our Packing Department. This hands-on manufacturing role involves packaging finished products, operating packing equipment, inspecting products for quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.
You will be cross-trained in additional production areas to support different areas of the manufacturing operation as needed.
Responsibilities

Package and inspect finished products.

Assemble cartons, stack pallets, and prepare products for shipment.

Operate equipment such as riveting machines, pallet lifts, taping machines, glue machines, and carton erectors.

Maintain production and quality standards.

Assist with setups and other production tasks.

Cross-train and provide support in other areas as needed.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
-
Manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine-operation experience preferred.

Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn multiple job functions.

Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
-
Forklift experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.

Ability to regularly lift and move materials averaging approximately 25 lbs.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle small parts/materials.
