Payrate: Up to $22.00/hour
Schedule:(Day-12 hour Shift)- 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM
2/2/3 Schedule example:
- Week 1: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
- Week 2: 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
What’s a typical day as Quality Control Inspector II? You’ll be:
- Performing intricate visual inspections of complex pre-ship and finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies to ensure conformance with quality standards.
- Verifying correct machine set-up before running assemblies.
- Selecting and reading appropriate documentation from a broad range of reference materials.
- Choosing inspection methods such as first article checks, sampling, or 100% inspection.
- Applying knowledge of electrical principles and quality control standards to determine pass/fail outcomes.
- Accessing customer quality inspection systems via computer, communicating with customers regarding inspection and quality issues, and conducting audits and in-process inspections.
- Determining cause and effect of defects and referring findings to manufacturing for correction.
- Acting as the final checkpoint for finished goods prior to shipment.
- Training other employees in quality control processes and procedures.
- Ensuring parts conform to customer quality standards and moving parts as necessary for inspection.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have experience in quality inspection, in electronics or manufacturing environments.
- Possess strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
- Are comfortable operating a personal computer with advanced PC skills, including Windows-based systems and software packages.
- Are able to read and understand visual aids, instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Can apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions and deal with standardized situations.
- Are able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Can compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret graphs.
- Are able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
