What’s a typical day as Manufacturing Lab Technician? You’ll be:
- Following all Good Manufacturing Practices, safety policies, and hygiene procedures.
- Weighing and blending raw materials accurately according to batch production records.
- Staging materials, operating scales, and recording exact weights with attention to detail.
- Cleaning and sanitizing utensils and work areas per approved procedures.
- Documenting all activities legibly using Good Documentation Practices.
- Cooperating with team members and supervisors, and maintaining regular attendance.
- Notifying maintenance of equipment issues and performing all other duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have basic mathematical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Possess a sense of urgency, accountability, professionalism, and self-motivation.
- Can speak, read, and write in English, and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Are able to read and record weights in grams and kilograms, and write legibly.
- Can lift up to 75 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and operating a pallet jack.
- Hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred, but not required).
