NOW HIRING! Shipping & Receiving Operator – Charlotte, NC

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is looking for experienced Shipping & Receiving Operators to join our client, Sterigenics, in Charlotte, NC!

If you have strong warehouse experience, are skilled in operating a sit-down forklift, and enjoy working in a fast-paced industrial environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Position Details

  • Location: 10821 Withers Cove Park Dr, Charlotte, NC 28278


  • Pay Rate: $20.00–$21.00 per hour


  • Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule (work every other weekend)


  • Shift Options:

    • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM


    • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM



  • Shift Length: 12 hours

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.


  • Load and unload trucks using a sit-down forklift.


  • Prepare, stage, and organize outgoing shipments.


  • Move materials safely throughout the facility.


  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.


  • Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.


  • Keep warehouse and production areas clean and organized.


  • Work safely in an industrial environment while following required PPE guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of sit-down forklift experience preferred.


  • Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.


  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.


  • Comfortable working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.


  • Ability to work in industrial areas with elevated temperatures, potentially reaching 120°F.


  • Ability to wear required PPE, including a respirator for portions of the shift.


  • Ability to meet respirator medical clearance and fit-testing requirements.


  • Must be clean-shaven where necessary to ensure a proper respirator seal.


  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
