Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Part-time Printing Press Operator/Production Assistant to join a nonprofit organization in Seattle, WA.  As a Part-time Print Production Specialist Machine Operator/Production Assistant, you will be responsible for operating an industrial Canon Printer C-710 Fiery machine and ensuring high-quality print production. Your expertise in determining the proper custom paper for print jobs and running print jobs using Fiery software will be crucial in delivering exceptional results. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, offering an opportunity to make a positive impact in our community.

Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Part-time (20 to 24 hours per week)
– Location: Seattle, WA
– Pay Rate: $27 to $30 per hour
– Shift: Flexible, 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)-Flexible on days on times

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Operate an industrial Canon Printer C-710 Fiery machine to produce high-quality prints
– Determine the appropriate custom paper for print jobs to achieve desired results
– Run print jobs using Fiery software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
– Collaborate with the marketing communications team and graphic designer to meet project requirements
– Assist other team members in gaining confidence and proficiency in operating the printing machine
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the machine is in optimal condition
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications & Skills:
– Previous experience operating a Canon C710 printer and familiarity with Duplo machine and Morgana trimmer
– Proficiency in using Fiery software for print production
– Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality prints
– Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the printing process
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
– Good time management skills to meet project deadlines
– Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
