Pay Rate: $95.71 per hour

What’s a typical day as an Associate Director Market Research Competitive Intelligence? You’ll be:

  • The subject matter expert on past, current and potential insights needed for the product/project

  • Identifying market research (MR) needs for the business (immediate and multi-year planning)

  • Consulting the brand team, media and ad agency in optimization opportunities from fact-based MR insights across campaign management, concept development, ad tracking, placement, wear-out, and other aspects of consumer marketing functions

  • Demonstrating expertise in consumer/pharma DTC measurement methodologies to collaboratively gain alignment on MR and syndicated secondary analysis plans to fill those needs

  • Designing, execute and interprete MR studies and media measurement programs with clear, accurate, unbiased communication of the insights and recommendations.

  • Analyzing & reporting syndicated, secondary market data for performance measurement and market understanding

  • Actively seeking alternative methods to bring agency-based measurements to independent, unbiased measures. Question the status quo and seek solutions for transparency of media measures and accuracy in reporting to leadership.

  • Utilizing a full spectrum of survey insights and syndicated data to answer complex business questions. This includes compilation of an insights story from multiple data sources, create presentations and deliver it with confidence

  • Supporting/guiding analytical business questions for projects run by other A&I colleagues

  • Working with all vendors to ensure every step of each project is aligned with business objectives, achieving the highest level of insights, and following all regulatory requirements and delivering actionable insights

  • Managing all work within the specified overall budget and complete all necessary paperwork to gain authorization with all aspects of each project

  • Coordinating/collaborating with other Analytics & Insights co-workers to deliver unified support for Marketing clients and senior leadership

  • Leading without authority, integrity and emotional intelligence across complex organizations and partnerships

  • Demonstrating full product, customer and performance knowledge and actively participate in planning sessions. Clearly demonstrate impact/influence on direction of responsible product’s marketing plans, strategies, and tactics

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have10 years of experience working within a large product marketing corporation specifically in the role of market research with primary responsibility for generating, organizing and presenting market research insights

  • Have10 years working in support of pharmaceutical brand marketing research

  • Have in-depth knowledge of all qualitative and quantitative market research techniques

  • Demonstrated experience managing the regulatory and ethical requirements of pharmaceutical market research & data protection

  • Experience exploring cardiology and primary care specialist marketing, cardiac and/or diabetic conditions (preferred)

  • Have high-level skills with Microsoft Office (PPT, Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Able to work during Eastern Time Zone business hours

  • Can start immediately
