- The Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling and testing various components and products.
- This position requires a strong attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- The Assembly Technician works closely with the production team to ensure high-quality standards and timely completion of assembly tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly operations using hand tools, power tools, and machinery as required.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and diagrams for precise assembly.
- Inspect and verify the quality of assembled components and finished products.
- Conduct functional tests on assembled products and troubleshoot any issues.
- Maintain an organized inventory of components, parts, and tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools.
- Accurately document assembly activities, test results, and relevant observations.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
- Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and report any issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is preferred.
- Previous experience in assembly work or a related manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic components is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
