Job Title: Machine Operator – Blow Molding
Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, including weekends
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available 7AM – 7PM / 7PM – 7AM
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
PPE Requirement: Steel toe boots required
Kelly Services is hiring a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting handling plastic bottles and jars for essential markets including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and personal care, with a strong commitment to sustainability and product quality. About the Role:
As a Machine Operator, your primary responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring multiple blow molding machines and vision systems.
- Completing machine set-ups, mold changes, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring continuous production of quality bottles and minimizing downtime.
- Conducting and documenting quality checks and processing data.
- Support team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area, following all established safety guidelines and using required PPE.
- Communicating issues effectively between shifts.
- Reporting any unsafe acts, conditions, or accidents as soon as they occur.
- Performing physically demanding tasks such as standing/walking for up to 11 hours, lift/carrying up to 75 pounds, and additional activities including reaching, climbing, bending, and use of hand tools.
About You:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in blow molding, injection molding, or manufacturing preferred. Mechanical aptitude necessary.
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality.
- Able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
