Kelly Services seeks an experienced Warehouse & Machine Shop Supervisor to manage daily operations and lead personnel at a local Sanford facility.

Location: Sanford, FL
Pay: $30+/hr, commensurate with experience

Summary:
This hands-on position involves supervising all shop floor and warehouse activities, operating Mazak lathes and mills, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, technical expertise, and a track record of driving efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate daily warehouse and machine shop activities to maximize productivity and maintain a safe work environment

  • Operate and program Mazak lathes and mills as required

  • Lead, train, and assess team members; manage scheduling and workflow

  • Inspect finished products for quality and precision, utilizing GD&T and CMM tools

  • Maintain accurate inventory controls and oversee effective parts flow

  • Enforce company policies, quality standards, and safety protocols

  • Collaborate with management and engineering to address technical or logistical issues

  • Support troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Mazak lathes and mills

  • Demonstrated supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

  • Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing improvement
