Kelly Services is currently hiring Machine Operators in the Dublin, OH area. These 1st shift roles are Temp-To Hire, paying $20-26 (depending on experience)
Location: Dublin, OH
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay: $20-26 (depending on experience)
Position Summary
Responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machinery, including vertical milling machines, to fabricate stamping dies, fixtures, and parts in accordance with blueprints and technical instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Program and operate vertical milling machines utilizing G-CODE for the production of stamping dies, fixtures, and parts.
- Prepare raw materials (e.g., aluminum blocks) by cutting, facing, and trimming to specified dimensions and shapes.
- Safely lift, position, and secure materials on machine beds using overhead cranes, hoists, vises, v-blocks, and angle plates.
- Insert eye-bolts or slots in prepped material prior to both rough and final machining operations.
- Inspect finished dies for surface smoothness and dimensional conformity to specified tolerances (e.g., +/- 0.001 mm on large components).
- Assemble and fit die components as required.
- Oversee routine maintenance of milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
- Manage inventory of machine parts (e.g., tool holders and cutting tools) and consumables (e.g., carbide inserts).
- Utilize additional equipment and tools as necessary, including power saws, drill presses, and tappers.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical/trade school, or
- Three to five years of relevant experience and/or training, or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, as well as working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing applications, is required for this position. Experience with G-CODE
