Senior Instrument Planning Analyst
Kelly Engineering | Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)

Kelly Engineering is hiring a Senior Instrument Planning Analyst to support a global life sciences and diagnostics organization in Sunnyvale. This is a high-impact supply chain role focused on planning, analytics, and inventory strategy across a complex global service network.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning planning decisions, working cross-functionally, and using data to drive inventory, supply, and service performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Own demand, supply, and inventory planning for service and aftermarket parts

  • Build and maintain supply plans aligned to forecast, inventory targets, and customer demand

  • Analyze planning data and system outputs to identify risks, shortages, and opportunities

  • Use analytics to improve planning accuracy, inventory health, and service levels

  • Maintain planning parameters and system settings to improve supply chain performance

  • Partner with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Care, and Order Management to resolve supply issues and improve execution

  • Support inventory optimization, cost control, and on-time delivery across a global network

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or related analytical planning roles

  • Strong experience with SAP or similar ERP systems

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical problem-solving ability

  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced supply chain environments

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive decisions

  • Experience balancing competing priorities across multiple stakeholders

Preferred Experience

  • Service parts / aftermarket planning

  • SQL or database experience

  • Experience with planning tools such as Baxter, PTC, or similar

  • Medical device, diagnostics, or other regulated manufacturing experience

  • Location: Sunnyvale, CA

  • Schedule: Full-time

  • Work Model: Primarily onsite with some flexibility

  • Pay: $55–$60/hr DOE

  • Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension
