Full-time | Contract-to-Hire

3rd Shift (Overnight): 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM or 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM; schedule options: Monday–Friday or Wednesday–Sunday
 
Targeted pay rate: $32-37/hr depending upon qualification
 
Kelly Engineering seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll be supporting advanced robotics and automation systems at the client location by performing preventative/predictive maintenance and troubleshooting issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance tasks on systems and machines

  • Work both autonomously and collaboratively

  • Assist with installation and deployment of new systems or machines

  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed

  • Submit daily or weekly activity reports and coordinate closely with the sites team leaders to prioritize work

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 – 5 years of maintenance experience

  • Good general knowledge and competency in mechanical and electrical maintenance operations

  • Strong communication skills

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, Slack, CMMS, SharePoint)

  • Experience using multimeters

  • Comfortable working at heights

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to robotics

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling automation

  • Certifications: OSHA 30, NFPF 70E, Scissor Lift

Ability to meet physical demands of job:

  • Use and manipulation of standard hand tools

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Working from heights of up to 50 ft

  • Use and operation of lifts with a manufacturer?rated capacity of 250 lbs., including tools and equipment (approximately 30 lbs.)

  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling to access and repair equipment at ground level

  • Working on overhead equipment, including extended reaching and manual dexterity
