Job Opening: Reach Truck Operator – Pooler, GA
Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Role Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our Pooler, GA warehouse team. In this role, you’ll handle loading, moving, and stacking products in high rack storage areas with precision and safety, ensuring inventory is properly managed and quality standards are met.
Essential Duties:
- Safely operate a reach truck to load and unload goods from containers and trailers
- Move palletized or crated items within high rack storage locations
- Stack products in designated areas according to inventory control instructions
- Check that loads are secure before transporting
- Stack empty pallets efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections, including recharging or changing propane tanks
- Remove reach truck attachments and waste material as needed
- Examine items to verify they meet quality standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of reach truck operating experience required
- Forklift/reach truck certification per OSHA standards preferred
- Strong math, reading, and communication skills
- High attention to safety for injury prevention and a safe work environment
- Ability to follow instructions for equipment operation and recordkeeping
- Accurate, timely, and safe execution of assignments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
