Job Title: Robotic Electrical Assembly Technician
Location: Raynham, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21–$28/hour (based on experience)
Details: 3 openings, 2 building computers, electro-mechanic assembler, and 1 assembler for small parts and intricate components coachable, team player, soldering experience is a plus.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Robotic Electrical Assembly Technician to support the manufacturing and servicing of advanced robotic navigation systems, including the OMNIBotics and Apollo platforms. This role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of high-precision medical robotic devices.
Full training is provided to ensure compliance with all manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, build, and test robotic navigation systems and electronic components
- Perform fine soldering and wire harness assembly
- Conduct mechanical assembly and panel wiring
- Install and configure software and firmware using Windows and macOS systems
- Perform in-process inspections and ensure product quality standards are met
- Calibrate and test robotic systems, including Omni Bot, Balance Bot, and camera systems
- Use multimeters and specialized equipment to measure voltage, current, and resistance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, including returned units from healthcare facilities
- Complete all required quality and production documentation in compliance with QMS, ISO, and GMP standards
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions accurately
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes and efficiency
- Assist in developing and updating SOPs and work instructions
- Train and support new team members as needed
- Perform routine equipment and inventory checks to ensure operational readiness
- Prepare finished products for shipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Electrical engineering education or certification preferred
- Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and soldering (fine wire/harness work)
- IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification preferred
- Strong ability to read and follow technical instructions and documentation
- Experience using testing equipment such as multimeters
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows and/or macOS)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in robotics, medical devices, or advanced manufacturing
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality systems (ISO standards)
- Experience with continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environments
- Prior experience training or mentoring team members
