Pay: $24.00 – $36.00 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (Flexible start time between 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Location: Brockton, MA (with occasional travel to nearby facilities)
Duration: Permanent position with full benefits

We are a growing sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing organization that supports a variety of industrial and commercial applications. Our operations focus on precision fabrication, production efficiency, and maintaining a safe, high-performing facility environment.
Due to continued growth and an upcoming retirement on our maintenance team, we are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance role responsible for maintaining facility systems, supporting production equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting experience, solid industrial maintenance background, and the ability to work independently.
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday–Friday, flexible start time (6:00–7:00 AM)
- Average 45 hours per week (overtime available depending on projects)
- Mileage reimbursement + paid travel time between facilities
- Pay range is negotiable based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on:
- HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems
- Compressed air systems, ovens, and dust collectors
- HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues (required) and electrical issues (preferred)
- Perform light welding (primarily MIG for repairs, not precision work)
- Handle basic carpentry, painting, and minor facility improvements
- Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain compliance standards
- Assist with inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
- Coordinate with outside vendors when needed
- Support general facility upkeep, including seasonal snow removal
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records
Qualifications
Required:
- 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Basic MIG welding skills (repair-focused, not precision work)
- Light plumbing experience
- Basic carpentry and general facility maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
Preferred:
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience with hazardous materials or waste handling (training provided if needed)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (75 lbs with assistance)
- Comfortable working in industrial conditions (heat, noise, dust, cold)
- Work at heights, in tight spaces, and on your feet for extended periods
- Occasional respirator use (approximately 2x per month for short durations; facial hair permitted)

- Initial onboarding and training provided during the first week to ensure a smooth transition into the role
