Kelly Services is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales and Marketing Representative to join a fast-growing organization in the packaging space. This is a high-impact new role focused on business development, product marketing, and driving market expansion for an innovative product line.
About the Role
In this position, you will take ownership of developing new business opportunities and positioning a new product line within the Food & Beverage industry. A key focus will be leveraging your industry knowledge to engage with restaurants, venues, and large-scale buyers, while also supporting marketing initiatives across social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and identify growth opportunities within the Food & Beverage industry
- Promote and position products through strategic sales and marketing initiatives
- Understand and navigate industry purchasing and distribution channels (restaurants, stadiums, hospitality groups, large-scale buyers, etc.)
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Identify target customers and build strategies to drive product adoption
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to support product positioning and growth strategy
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal teams on go-to-market strategy and product feedback
- Gather and translate customer insights into actionable recommendations for product development
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, and product marketing within the food & beverage or food services industry
- Experience selling into restaurants, venues, beverage companies, or large-scale buyers (e.g., stadiums, event groups, hospitality organizations)
- Strong understanding of how products are purchased and distributed within the industry
- Proven “hunter” mindset with a track record of generating new business
- Experience in social media marketing and digital campaign execution
- Ability to assess product-market fit and develop positioning strategies
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Analytical thinker with a strategic, growth-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: starting at $80,000 annually (paid bi-weekly)
- Bonus: Up to 15% based on individual and company performance
- Car Allowance: $500/month
- Benefits: Full benefits starting Day 1
- RRSP Matching: Up to 5%
- Vacation: 3 weeks
