Job Title: Billing Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist experienced in data management and/or accounting to join our team! In this role, you will resolve payment issues by collaborating with internal customers, external customers, and vendors. You will leverage various payment systems to investigate, identify, and address payment discrepancies, ensuring efficient and accurate billing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate charges for accuracy, updating as necessary
- Research and resolve payment issues, communicating findings to customers and vendors
- Analyze data to identify root causes of payment defects and recommend payment solutions
- Identify process improvement and system enhancement opportunities to minimize defects
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of professional work experience
- Basic knowledge of computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
