Quality Assurance Associate (Temporary Assignment)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $30 per hour
Duration: 2–3 weeks to start, ongoing as needed
Description
Seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Assurance Associate for a temporary position supporting clinical trial supply operations. The role focuses on in-process inspections, material checks, maintenance of retention samples, and accurate documentation, all while ensuring compliance with standard procedures and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspections during packaging and labeling operations
- Verify components, labels, quantities, and configurations
- Conduct line clearance and area inspections
- Inspect and release incoming clinical materials and packaging
- Maintain records and retention samples
- Identify and report non-conformities and support investigations
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Logistics, and Project Management
- Monitor and document environmental conditions (e.g., temperature)
Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences or 3+ years of pharmaceutical quality experience
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience with electronic quality systems is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, highly adaptable, and works well both independently and in a team
- Willingness to work in controlled refrigerated and frozen environments as needed
