Facilities Maintenance Tech requirements:
– Prior facilities maintenance experience in electrical, welding, painting, plumbing, and/or carpentry
– High school diploma or GED is required; additional relevant education/certifications are preferred
– Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday, 5:30pm-5:30am
– Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. regularly throughout each shift
– Prior facilities maintenance experience in air compressors, air dryers, vacuum systems, HVAC, and/or DI water Systems is preferred
What’s a typical day as a Facilities Maintenance Tech?
Under limited supervision, responsible for repair, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
– Perform electrical, welding, painting, plumbing, and/or carpentry repairs in a manufacturing environment.
– Troubleshoot and conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
– Follow Preventive Maintenance Instructions and ensure that the records for such are properly documented.
– May perform or assist in the installation, relocation, and reinstallation of new and/or existing equipment.
– May perform or assist in the repair and maintenance of support equipment that includes but is not limited to, air compressors, air dryers, vacuum systems, HVAC, and DI water Systems.
