Kelly Services is working with a leading manufacturing company who is looking for a QC Inspector in Taunton, MA.
- Pay: $21
- Shift: 7:45 – 4pm
Responsibly:
Reporting to the Quality Manager and Lead Inspector, this position supports Quality Assurance activities in accordance with ISO13485 and ISO9001 standards. The Quality Inspector ensures the final product meets all specifications prior to packaging.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and physical inspection of products
- Accurately measure using gauges, go/no go pins, digital calipers, tensile tester, Vision Gauge, and other equipment
- Provide real-time feedback to production employees regarding product discrepancies to minimize rejections
- Report out-of-tolerance products to the Quality Manager
- Conduct AQL measurements on production parts and assist with compiling quality data for Qualification Protocols
- Work in a White Room environment, adhering to cleanliness and safety standards
- Support Quality Manager and Inspection Lead with quality-related functions
- Properly care for measuring and testing equipment
- Determine product acceptability using company guidelines
- Document findings and report non-conformances
- Complete paperwork such as data sheets using GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Package products per customer specifications or Argos protocol
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance with previous experience with calliber and other measuring equipment
- Basic mathematical skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including diagram forms
